On May 22, 2010 in Cordignano (TV) was held on the international military competition, "Pre" organized by the National Federation of reservists.
The event, among others, included a sniper shooting trial, which was carried out using a simulator system (infrared emitter WEHP) planning and implementing fully Italian.
The target to hit, hard, consisted of a disk of 4 cm in diameter applied to a holder placed at 250 meters * from the tee.
The score of this test was calculated as follows: 250 points if hit perfectly, 100 points if grazed, if not 0 points.
After the race, in the afternoon, in pouring rain, were performed successfully in simulations of long range shooting on a fixed target located at 450 and 700 meters .*
A race ended, the participants were carried away in a spontaneous urban combat simulation , could once again appreciate the efficiency of the simulator.
* The distances have been detected by Garmin GPS unit.
